It is the aim of everyone at Maypark House to provide all 48 Residents with both a comfortable and enjoyable home in relaxed surroundings with special emphasis on holistic care.
Qualified Nurses are supervised by the Director of Nursing, ensuring that the highest standard of nursing care is maintained at all times.
We maintain a high Staff / Resident ratio and all our Care Assistants are trained and accredited.
An individual Care Plan is drawn up for each Resident upon admission with the involvement of the Resident or the Resident’s family.
For those in need of post-operative surgical recuperation or suffering from acute or chronic illness, Maypark means rest and comfort in a relaxed and tranquil setting combined with a highly skilled nursing team.
Convalescence
Nursing care is provided for persons requiring convalescence following surgical or medical treatment in hospital. Maypark House is approved for convalescence by V.H.I., Quinn, Aviva, BUPA and all major insurances companies. We also welcome people who require short stay services whilst those who normally care for them are on holiday or taking a short break. All fees paid to Maypark House are tax deductible.
Day Care, overnight or weekend stay, will enable Carers to have a short break while their relatives are in our care. All members of our nursing team ensure that nursing care is of the highest standard. Should the need arise, special individual nursing care can be provided for an agreed fee.
It is our aim to provide a quality nursing service for all persons in our nursing home whether using our residential or day care services. Our staff have a special interest in the care of the Elderly and you will always receive friendly, knowledgeable and reliable care and advice from them.
Inspection by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) takes place unannounced twice a year. Inspection Reports are available on request. Reports are available online from the HIQA website. We also have a full complaints procedure and encourage feedback from all Residents and their families.
